Our enhanced finish is applied premier wood with selective Minwax™ stain colors. All exterior doors are finished with Sherman Williams Polane™ exterior finish system to ensure that our wood doors stand above the ordinary dull finishes of other doors. This system is designed to guard and glorify the natural beauty of our doors. Extensively researched and tested, Prolane™ Pre-Finish has been applied in thousands of installations worldwide. This finishing process ensures a superior finish at time of delivery and for years to come.

All panels are pre-stained and sealed prior to assembly, thus preventing unfinished areas from being exposed with panel expansion and contraction.

The Prolane™  finishing system is the most advanced catalyzed finish today.

Our 12 Step Process

1 Saw raw wood door with 100 grit to clean off any contaminants.

2 Detail sand all profiles with 220 grit.

3 Hand apply penetrating grain.

4 Apply wood filler / sealer to smooth out and seal grain.

5 Lightly sand after wood filler dries.

6 Apply first catalyzed, UV inhibited top coat.

7 Fine Sand with 320 grit.

8 Apply second coat of top coat.

9 Fine Sand with 320 grit.

10 Apply third coat of top coat giving the finish a deep rich look.

11 Final polish sanding.

12 Hand rub with polishing wax provides a high-end furniture finish.
